More Woodland Glam in the Dining Room

The other day I mentioned that “Woodland Glam” was the phrase I settled on for the look I was going for with my Christmas decorations this year. I added some new touches to my mantel and tree.

The dining room table also got a splash of woodland glam.

This deer was my inspiration…

I’m pretty sure he came from Hobby Lobby last year. I hung a couple of chandelier crystals (similar here) and a clear ornament from his antlers…

These little hollowed out log vases came from a local boutique. Last winter they held flowers during the winter season (see that look here). I love it when decor can transition from one season to the next!

For this Christmas, I just added some faux magnolia leaves and some vintage ornaments…

Down the center of the table, I placed a eucalyptus garland from Target. Then I added in a few sprigs of faux evergreens, a couple more pinecones, and some more vintage ornaments…

The rest of my decor stayed very similar to last year.

I like to add a few wintery touches to the china cabinet/Welsh cupboard….

The candle rings in the window have been a Christmas staple for the last few years. These are so easy to make! It’s just a coat hanger bent into a circle and spray painted with a textured black paint. Then you wire on some preserved boxwood, clip a candle ring to the center, and hang it with twine. I have mine hanging on the window itself with a clear, sticky hook. I think I got the candle clips on Etsy, but I found a few similar clips here.

Now if only the weather would cooperate and give me a snowy background!….

The area around my chalkboard is very similar to last year, too. I just added some blue ornaments to tie it into the table.

Well, that’s the Woodland Glam Christmas dining room for 2018.

Now, I’m off to wrap a couple of remaining gifts and get my baking list ready!

    1. Thanks for your sweet comments, Narelle! I bought the chairs off of Craigslist a number of years ago and painted them with Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint. I used the same brand of milk paint for the back of the china cabinet, too:)
