A Touch of Easter
We’ve been in the middle of a little home renovation for the past few months. It’s made decorating a little tricky and I almost let Easter pass by without getting anything out. Almost.
I truly love this time of year and Easter is my very favorite holiday, so I had to get a few things out. They may be a little dusty by the end of the week, but it will be worth it!
I found the branches in the backyard and added the artificial tulips.
I also added some mercury glass eggs from Pottery Barn and some more branches from the backyard.
I took the palm branches that my boys used in church last Sunday and put them in a vase. This is the second year that I’ve done this and it just might become a tradition. It serves as a great reminder all week about Palm Sunday, Jesus’ sacrifice, and His resurrection.
After I finished decorating with these little touches of Easter, my youngest son said, “The house looks really happy, now”. I think it does, too.
Looks cute!
